Recently completed was this specialist Bond Coater - Bitumen Joint sealer built for Leinster Tackcoating.

This machine differs to our standard tack coat sprayer as it features an upgraded bitumen pump and jets at 100mm centres on the spraybar. This allows the machine to output the higher spread rates required when applying geogrid or other geotextiles/geosynthetic materials for asphalt reinforcement while maintaining a faster forward speed. This ensures the tack coat sprayer is not the bottleneck on a job site.

Alongside this, the machine also features one of our Bitumen melters with triple jet joint sealer arms on both sides of the machine meaning this is an extremely versatile machine capable of multiple jobs in one.

Details:

6,000L emulsion and 300L bitumen capacity.
4.2m upgraded expandable spray bar with automatic flow rate and pressure control. This spraybar features reduced jet centres for geogrid application.
Tack coat spray rates as high as 2.5 litres per square metre for applying geogrid and other geotextile materials used in asphalt reinforcement.
Updated Bitumen Melter with Super insulated walls reducing heating times.
Bitumen edge / joint sealer spray bar on both driver and passenger side.
Full In-cab controls.
