Hot Binder Tanker consisting of a heating tank and assembly for haulage and storage of hot bituminous liquids. Can be built as an artic tanker or mounted on a rigid chassis.

The complete artic tanker option is mounted on tri-axle trailer running gear with one lifting axle and is suitable for towing by a standard tractor unit.

The  rigid chassis option for a transport tanker allows for maximum carrying capacity in an overall compact and manoeuvrable design – ideal for supplying binder to a road recycling train.

Rigid chassis options go from 8,000 litre tank up to a 21,000 litre tank. Chassis configuration options are from a 4x2 up to a 10x4 chassis.

Tank: Tank fabricated from mild steel to maximum section incorporating anti-surge baffles and 200mm dia. heating flue. Tank insulated with 150mm dense rockwool matting and clad with Aluminium sheeting.

Tank Capacity: up to 27,000 litres.

Automatic heating: Binder is heated by internal flue using Diesel Burner.

Pumping: The tanker is fitted with a high volume emulsion pump for pumping on and off of the product.

Testing: All systems are fully calibrated and tested to specification.

General: The Binder tank size can be varied to suit customer requirements. An overnight heating system can be fitted.
